My Morning Star

As the people awaits for the Sun to rise,

The world waits for another morning star to wake up likewise.

For she is the wonder  to many of the eyes.

She has taken up the burden to make us re-imagine this world,

Bearing, with big steps and great wings furled.

To walk beyond the path through utter darkness hurled.

She wakes up to awaken the lot many us, without hope,

To help us climb the life’s ascending slope,

To say, “Fear not! Life still has scope.”

She is hustling and bustling all her day,

That she hardly finds for herself some time to slay.

Because, she knows there is no time to delay.

She collapses sometimes and still keeps moving on with a smile,

Because she knows, her journey is of long long mile.

But I want to let her know that, her every walk is worthwhile,

And that she can rest sometimes,

and I carry her worry at least for a while.

तू कहाँ था

A deeply emotional Hindi poem about betrayal, abandonment, and hypocrisy. The poet questions the absence of someone close during moments of pain, struggle, and humiliation, while others mocked wounds, blamed the sufferer, and took advantage of vulnerability.
