Moeen Aftab : Elected as MP in the UNESCO’s World Teen Parliament
Moeen Aftab from Radiant Public School has successfully been elected as the Member of the Parliament (MP) in the 3rd World Teen Parliament. He was elected on 20 January 2024. About Moeen Aftab: Moeen Aftab (born, 26 October 2011) is a student (9th, 2024), public speaker, author, poet, novelist, columnist & Member of Parliament (MP) of the UNESCO’s World Teen Parliament. He was born in the Anantnag district of J&K. He is the Youngest Columnist from the UT, J&K. His columns have been published in famous news portals like; The Times Of India, Hamari Aawaz, Greater Kashmir, Daily Srinagar-e-Jang etc. He is currently a student at Radiant Public School, Batengoo Anantnag Kashmir. He got into the world of literature and started his journey with an anthology in 2021 (studying in class 6th). He has Co-authored 23 anthologies including ‘The Ladder Of The World Class Life’, ‘Alliance of writers’, ‘The Heavy Heart’ etc. He authored his first novel in 2022 named ‘The Scared Visitor’. He was also featured in Top 15 Upcoming Talents Of 2023. Besides this, he is an International Level IMUN Speaker, wherein he is an official member of the UN committee. He also participated in IMUN Olympiads 24.0 & phenomenally cracked the Olympiad with 100th percentile getting the 56th International Rank, 4th National Rank & Ist Zonal Rank. Moeen Aftab is a prominent & professional public speaker, he has excelled many national & international level speaking contests like "IMUN Online Conference 163.0", "Y20 Zonal Debate", "Mission LiFE National Level Speech Competition" etc He is also being invited as a guest speaker at many prominent convocation halls like "SKICC SRINAGAR", "TAGORE HALL SRINAGAR", "G&B PULWAMA, "All India Radio Srinagar" etc.
