मैं प्रकृति हूं!

इंसान मैं तुझे क्या नहीं देती हूं

सबकुछ समर्पित करती हूं तेरे लिए

फिर भी तुम मेरे संग बुरा बर्ताव करते हो

क्यूं आखिर क्यूं

तुम बार-बार कुकृत्य कर

मुझे क्रोधित होने के लिए बाध्य करते हो।।

मैं प्रकृति हूं!

इंसान तुझे बहुत कुछ दिया है

मैंने उपहार स्वरुप

तू सांस ले सको इसलिए

तुझे उपहार स्वरूप पेड़-पौधा दिया मैंने

क्या तुम पौधों के बिन रह पाओगे

नहीं! नहीं बिल्कुल नहीं।।

मैं प्रकृति हूं!

इंसान तुम आलिशान इमारत

बनाने के उद्देश्य से

अपना साम्राज्य स्थापित करने के उद्देश्य से

हर बार असमय ही

निर्दोष पेड़-पौधों को काट देते हो

क्यूं? आखिर क्यूं ऐसा करते हो तुम?

मैं प्रकृति हूं!

इंसान तुम स्मरण रखना

मेरे बिन तुम ठीक उसी तरह हो

जिस तरह पानी के बिना मछली का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं

जिस तरह आसमां के बिना धरती का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं

अर्थात् हे मनुज

मैं न रही तो तुम्हारा कोई अस्तित्व ही नहीं बचेगा।।
