When the world was altering course,

and turning real to virtual promptly,

I was enjoying, confined inside my home,

Welcoming the change fairly calmly;

Taking a shot at my writing skills,

On the varied social media podiums,

Where I got to know budding writers,

learnt to write new forms and mediums;

one such scribbler whose writings I dearly admired,

became a great friend and my positive stimulus,

she introduced me to many new writing strategies,

and gave my poetic expressions an extra impetus;

haven’t yet met her in person, but love to, one day,

for she seems truly close to heart, in this virtual world,

we are now boon companions, without any conditions,

a valued friendship for me, this digital community has unfurled!
