Any day is a good day to talk about mental health. To reach greater standards as a society, it should become our everyday topic of discussion. We are so programmed to talk about external reactions, physical responses and obvious rational consequences to every action. Little do we realise that our entire existence is driven by our inner force, that is our mental ability to take decisions, deal with emotions and determine our ambitions.

People survive cancer and many other deadly diseases. Thanks to the advancement of modern day medicine. Do all people experience recovery only when medical care is given or do we require something more? We know people who kill themselves as soon as they're recognised with a disease and that's just another evidence no one prepared them mentally. Now we are witness a number of increase in people dying of suicide everyday.

If you give your mom blood pressure medication but do the things that irritate her, you are ignorant of mental health's impact on her physical health. You can scold or not about your little brother losing his grade. If you don't empathize with how he might feel dejected about the result then you are not paying attention towards his mental health.

Everyone needs to feel heard, listened and loved once in a while if not everyday. Take a moment to make someone smile today. Let someone know they're cared and remembered. Let's heal the world with one loved heart at a time.
