Vidur

In the olden days, there was a Mahatma, Mandavya patient, truthful and ascetic. All his time was spent in worshiping God. He had acquired knowledge of Vedas, Vedanta and Shastras. Mandavya used to lose his mind and mind in contemplation of God. One day when he was meditating quietly outside his house, some thieves passed by. He hid himself there, hiding his loot in Mandviya's hut. The soldiers of the king were following them. The hero of the soldiers asked Mandavya, "Have you seen thieves going here? Answer quickly, we will follow them. "

Mandavya was engrossed in his practice. He did not listen to the hero. So no one gave him an answer. Meanwhile, the soldiers came to the hero with the spoils from Mandavya's hut. The hero thought this man is a thief. Then he pretended to be dumb. He asked the soldiers to guard Mandavya and he himself went to the king to take orders.

He told the king that by hiding the spoils in the cell, the chieftain of the thieves was pretending to be a monk outside the house. The king ordered that the thief's body be drenched and hung on the cross. The soldiers of the king buried Mandavya in the body and hung him.

Mandavya was in yoga. Therefore, he did not even know about it and his life did not die. Later, when he came to Chet and saw him by the monk saints living nearby, he asked him how he got this condition? Mandavya replied, "The soldiers of the king, who has the burden of protecting the people, have made this situation of mine." When the king came to know about the whole incident, he was frightened and he went to Mandavya and crucified him first. Wade and then apologized to him.

Mandavya had no complaint with the king. He went straight to Dharma and asked Dharma what crime I had committed which I had to suffer this Darun Vedana. Dharma replied very politely, "You had hurt the birds and the madhus." Because of that you had to face this punishment. "

Mandavya was surprised to hear this answer. He asked, "When did I commit this crime?" Dharma replied, "When you were a child." Mandavya then cursed Dharma. You have given such a huge punishment for negligible crime committed by a child in ignorance, so you should take birth in the world of death.

In this way, due to the curse of Mandavya, religion had to be born as Vidur on earth. However, humans were also incarnations of the Vidur religion in the vagina. He had extensive knowledge of religion and scriptures. He did not have any kind of attachment and he did not even get angry. Bhishma appointed him minister of Dhritarashtra in his teens.

According to Ved Vyasa, the author of Mahabharata, no person in the three worlds could match Vidur in virtues and knowledge. When Dhritarashtra invited the Pandavas to play gambling (dice) on the advice of Duryodhana and Shakuni, Vidur strongly opposed it. He said that it would have destructive consequences.

Vidur neeti is very popular in Hindu Culture because of its relevance and Effectively applicable to solve the current daily life issues.
