Road of life

An unending journey 

full of odds and atrocities

absence of light, not a single ray of hope

darkness spread all over

as far as I could see,

As I walked ahead

gathering courage and strength

silence is what I observed

No voice, no vibration

Suddenly,

an unexpected breeze passed by,

tousled my hair and made me shiver

endeavoured to frighten me

to the depth of my heart,

closing the eyes I talked to my soul

and the next moment I felt the light

which guided me to come out of the darkness

filling me with zeal and vigour, 

not to believe the illusions 

but accepting the truth,

this journey belongs to me

and so the goals,

and only I have to accomplish

and reach the end, all alone

others can guide me, encourage me

perhaps, walk a few steps

but no one else can travel 

that road for me.
