But they say beauty lies in the beholder’s eye.

I may not be a prodigy or the next Einstein,

But thank you my brains are perfectly fine.

I may not make you laugh till you hold your stomach tight,

But I can bring that curve on your face to set things straight.

I may not be the strongest person you’ve ever known,

But I can carry my responsibilities all by my own.

I am not the most shining diamond you’ll ever find,

But I am the blackest coal they can ever make to shine.

I am not the most perfect person you will see,
