Grandma's Kitchen!

Strong aroma of the biryani,

Always resulted into a tsunami,

Deep inside my heart, 

I felt the joy of savouring what looked like a gorgeous piece of art,

The biryani had all the ingredients and colours,

And the authentic hyderabadi flavours,

It mesmerized every bit of me,

And there was nothing else, I could see,

I would deperately wait for my big plate to arrive,

As though without it I wouldn't survive,

Was it the magic of love that you poured into the cooker, grandma or something else?

I still don't know, I could never guess,

For all I know is, the best biryani made with chicken,

Came from my grandma's kitchen!
