A Night with the Toys

Danny was tired after attending his best friend's birthday party and dozed off early last night. In the middle of the night he felt parched and woke up to quench his thirst.

While, he was looking around his bedside for a bottle of water, he heard strange voices coming from his toy cupboard. He thought it must be the squeaking mouse that he had seen running around his house the other day. He felt scared and quickly cuddled back into his blanket trying to get back to sleep.

But he kept on hearing some peculiar sounds as though someone was talking. He was curious yet nervous to open the cupboard. Somehow he gathered the courage and opened it. To his surprise, he saw all his toys dressed up in fancy clothes having a party in the cupboard. He was amazed to see them dancing and talking to each other. They were celebrating Mr. Robby, the robot's birthday. Mr. Robby was wearing blue robes and he looked as royal as a king. Mr. Ted, the teddy bear and Mr. Fatty, the elephant were busy eating burgers and chips to fill their big fat tummies. The pretty dolls Glitter & Sparkle were singing a lovely birthday song. Danny was spellbound to see such a spectacular sight. 

All the toys saw Danny and asked him to join their party. Danny became very excited but he was too big to join them which made him sad. Seeing him upset, Mr. Willy, the wizard casted a spell on Danny and made him as small as his toys. He could now enter the cupboard and attend their party. He ate ice creams, cakes, puddings and all his favourite things. He was having a great time dancing around when suddenly Mr. Dino, the dinosaur bumped into him and Danny stumbled on the floor. 

To his rescue came Mr. Spidyman who told him to get up and drink a glass of milk so that he can become as strong as him. Danny told Mr. Spidyman that he doesn't like milk but Mr. Spidyman kept on saying 'Get up, drink your milk', 'Get up, drink your milk', 'Get up, drink your milk'. Danny was getting annoyed but Mr. Spidyman wouldn't stop. He kept on saying 'Get up, drink your milk', 'Get up, drink your milk' and slowly his voice turned into Danny's mother's voice. 

Upon hearing his mother's voice Danny felt a jolt, he opened his eyes and realised it was his mother who was trying to wake him up from his dream and telling him to get up fast to drink milk.... Oh! Danny was in his dream world.. Such a lovely dream he had where he was in the wonderful world of his toys!
