Ft. Visitor, nightmare, keychain

This is a memory that I wanted to forget but it comes to haunt me everytime I try to have a peaceful night sleep.

I was 19 when these recurrent nightmares started to bug me. They were so vivid that I began writing my dreams. That diary is filled with some of my worst nightmares that I had experienced. Here is one of my accounts.

I was at a diner munching on a burger. It was a normal looking diner but something gave me an eerie feeling.

I was looking around, just to be startled by a guy who had his face glued to the glass wall. I could see smoke build up on the glass because of his breathing.

I just froze on the spot, not knowing what to do. A loud bang jolted me awake from the nightmare. Sweat ran down my face as I just stood on the bed, panting heavily. The sweat completely stained my pillows.

For the next few days, I was able to sleep peacefully but not long after, the nightmares surfaced again.

This time, the location was my house. I was having a party with a couple of friends. Some were my friends but many of them were strangers. They were drinking and dancing, the usual party stuff, having fun. I was slowly moving, pretending to dance, when one thing in particular caught my eye.

A man was standing in between the crowd, completely still, not moving or doing anything. He wasn't dancing or drinking, just standing there with a big menacing smile on his face. His face was black and only his smile was visible.

He had a backpack on. A black bag with a skeleton keychain slowly dangling from a small chain on the side. Even when he saw me staring at him, he didn't break eye contact and kept that same creepy smile plastered on his face.

It was so eerie and creepy at the same time that I immediately flung my eyes open.

Sweat was dripping down my face like water with the sun blazing into my eyes. I looked at the clock and it was 10 am.

Just in time for my second class. My first class had started a long while ago and I knew that I wouldn't be able to make it in time.

I got up and went into my living room. But what I saw next still brings chills down my spine everytime the thought comes to my mind.

That same black bag with that same skeleton keychain I saw in my dream last night was just sitting on the dining table. The craziest thing about it was that it had red stains on the side which as he recalled, were previously not there.
