सरजू काका की सीख

75वर्षीय सरजू काका धूप में पौधे लगा रहे थे। एक राहगीर ने पास जाकर पूछा ?आप शहर के बाहर पौधे क्यों लगा रहे हैं ?

काका ने कहा बेटा यह बरगद ,पीपल, नीम और आम के पौधे हैं। कुछ सालों बाद यह वृक्ष बड़े हो जाएंगे ।राहगीरों को छाया और फल देंगे। 

काका मगर उस समय तक आप तो नहीं रहेंगे कौन लेगा आपका नाम?

 काका ने कहा नाम में क्या रखा है बेटा। मुझे इस धरती ने बिना मांगे ही सब दिया।मैं भी कुछ आने वाली पीढ़ी को विरासत मे देना चाहता हूं।ये घने वृक्ष और इनकी छाया ।

"मदीना को लिखे गए ख़त"

हर जुमे की सुबह एक बूढ़ा आदमी अपने दिल के टुकड़े काग़ज़ पर रख देता था — मदीना के नाम।" ‘मदीना को लिखे गए ख़त’ एक रूहानी, मोहब्बत-भरी कहानी है, जो इबादत और इंतज़ार के धागों से बुनी गई है। गुलज़ार की नज़्मों की तरह नरम, और दिल को छू लेने वाली इस कहानी में, एक पोती अपने दादा के उन ख़ामोश ख़तों को पढ़ती है, जो मदीना को नहीं, बल्कि अल्लाह से की गई एक धीमी, टूटती बातचीत होते हैं। यह कहानी है उन अल्फ़ाज़ों की जो कभी भेजे नहीं जाते, उन दुआओं की जो जवाब नहीं मांगतीं—बस यकीन रखती हैं।
