We all have heard and read a lot about positive affirmations and how we can make thoughts into reality. But I have tried and failed at it, miserably!
let me make it clear, I have failed at the known method of writing affirmations every morning. Affirmations work differently for different people. Some people even end up believing that things are working out for them, even when it clearly isn’t Or atleast that’s what I did for sometime.
So, how does affirmations really really work?
Firstly, It starts with letting go off all the negative thoughts. Unless you get rid of the negative thoughts that may overlay the positive affirmations, you won’t see results.
Secondly, you have to actually visualise everything you want to achieve. I found this to work better, than writing it everyday. So along with repetitions of affirmations in your head, if you picturize or visualise the things you want to achieve or the positivity you want to bring in your life, you will see changes sooner.
And lastly believe in the process. Whether you write it on a piece of paper or repeat it in your head, you first ought to believe what you want to see. Believe that the changes you want, will happen soon in your life, repeat it to yourself over and over and visualise it like it really is happening.
Let Universe do the rest of the work.
