Is the Indian film industry worth following? - a write up for the contest.
Definitely film industry influences a lot on the society, especially the younger generation. No doubt there are pro's and con's, but the presence of the industry is proving a lot in our society.. We have witnessed a lot of inspirational movies which have boosted the morale of the community.. Our film industry besides giving entertainment, teaches us the patriotism, love, tradition, culture etc...
I still remember, one of my colleague was saying he is a big fan of Dr. Rajkumar, a legendary actor in Kannada industry who ruled the industry for more than 4 decades... My colleague says he has been influenced by a lot of movies of the veteran actor, which have brought a lot of ethical practices in his life.
Nowadays we are seeing contrary also. Crime, cheating, unethical materials are poured in movies to reach the younger generation fast which may mislead them too.... Its upto us, how we receive the things... We need to have some ethical practices, we should be cautious about the happenings around us and pro's and con's of them. Besides, we need to educate our younger generation on this. Everything has good and bad in it.. Running away from it is not a solution.. Living with it and choosing the right one is the key here which we need to adopt in ourselves....If we are cautious, no one can damage our ethics...
Therefore, let us open up to the both positive and negative sides of our film industry, inhale the positive essense and leave behind the negativity. Unless a good thing is kept along with bad thing, we will not be able to know the values of such good thing...
With this, let us move forward hoping our industry also understands this sensitive issue and acts appropriately.
