CA, as we all know, is counted amongst the difficult exams of the nation. The qualifying percentage is very low making it evident that the difficulty level is very high Know Reasons why students quit CA?

Reasons why students quit:

1.)   Failing to Plan

It is a well-known fact that failing to plan means planning to fail. And it is seen that not only in CA but in every walk of life quitters are plan less. Planning and research works are very basic and the most significant steps before doing anything and particularly in and after opting for a career-oriented course. A plan is a blueprint of any work. It is seen that students fail to plan their routine, their studies, and their extra-curricular activities. This leads to a situation of chaos and haphazard. CA requires a strictly disciplined and well-organised overall routine and failing to do so results in quitting CA.

2.)   Wrong Decisions

Many times, it is seen that students take their career-related decisions either as per the wish, desire and advice of their family or under their pressure. Setting aside their own wish, area of interest, area of strength and weaknesses, students opt for the career of their family’s choice. If a theory loving student is compelled to opt for CA then there is a high probability that sooner or later, he/she will fail or quit as CA requires interest and expertise in practical and numerical parts. Had he/she opted for CS he/she would have done very well. Help in career counselling may be taken from Online Commerce Coaching or any CA Coaching in India or any Commerce Coaching.

3.)   Social life and Social Media

Students, due to lack of self-discipline and self-control, get easily distracted by parties, college meets, any other family or social gatherings, etc. The same damaging role is played by social media. They keep the student physically as well as mentally occupied which is unfruitful and drains out energy. All these things resultantly deviate the student from their actual path leading towards their goal. Such activities are strictly prohibited to some extent to the CA aspirants. Students owing to their lack of discipline become unable to create a balance in such things and their studies get adversely affected. Thus, leading to their separation from CA.

4.)   Absence of Mentor

Good mentorship acts as a catalyst, smoothening and speeding up the journey towards success. Moreover, a student can rely on his mentor rather than wandering. And only he should be trusted upon rather than trusting and relying upon other unauthentic sources. Notes, syllabus, question papers, exam patterns etc. provided by the mentor will be of great help and no unnecessary pain is to be taken for further corroboration of such study materials. Irrelevant, obsolete, unauthentic and ambiguous study materials and sources often lead to delayed success or failure.

5.)    Lack of Practice

Lack of practice and appearing in the exam raw by just completing the course may prove to be very damaging and unfruitful and result in wasteful exhaustion of attempts and quitting Chartered Accountant. Practice and repeated practice makes a student a well-equipped and shielded warrior and increase the probability of winning the war. Moreover, practice drives out fear by making you confident and sure for success. Practise can be done from any Online Commerce Coaching or CA Coaching in India or any other renowned Commerce Coaching.

6.)   Absence of self-assessment

Students don’t do their self-assessment and thus don’t come to know the place where they actually stand. On the basis of performance in mock tests and practise papers, students need to self-assess their selves and act accordingly.
