Empowered I Live

Yes,I live my life on my terms,

And dare to live up to my dreams

Yes, I am the epitome of feminism,

With strong roots of empathy and humanism

I am professionalism personified,

And am true to my words as typified

The apple of many eyes and of all my dears,

An icon for so many of my students and peers

I live my life by example,

Of practicing what I preach in ample

My heart brims with kindness, love and empathy,

Living an empowered life in its true meaning and sobriety

My life will blaze a path for many to follow,

To live their dreams, to soar up in their skies like a swallow
