My life a blank page

You left my side too soon, too early,

Leaving a blank space , a gaping hollowness inside me unearthly

You broke your promise to remain lifelong by my side,

A promise to never let me ever feel any blankness inside

You broke your promise of filling only colors of joy in every page of my life's book,

A promise that you will not leave any page blank in my book

With you gone, my heart is just a deep and empty void,

It's silent longing cries only echo in the hollows inside

My mind is now on a shuffle play,

With only the thought of being with you once again, on constant replay

I now only live patiently waiting for that one day,

When we unite once again to bid this hollow blankness away
