Colours of Spring

Basket of Colours that spring holds

Green buds ready to usher from winter moulds

Cool breeze welcomed by all

And no more snow to thaw

Blossom by Blossom beauty adorns the earth

The nature celebrates the glory in mirth

As the flowers blow their trumpet

Declaring they are out from their closet

Frolicking they sway, fun not to miss

Refusing the bees that hover to kiss

In the days of light and beauty

Birds waltz in amorous melody

We see spring strut in majesty

Flowers, birds and butterflies to accompany .

The sun smiles a little wider this time

Setting the surroundings in mellifluous rhyme

The azure sky becomes the harbinger of spring

Let's open the windows to warmth it will bring

Welcoming in our hearts to end all human plight

As it becomes for us panacea and olfactory delight.
