Every woman is a health advisor of her family. When she gets married, she is busy playing a multitude of roles wholeheartedly. Whether as a wife or a mother, her priority is always taking care of others keeping her health in the back seat.
She is always selfless and forgets about herself. She can pop a painkiller or a paracetamol and work the whole day. She would always say 'Thik hoon aur thik hojayega', and she is forever good to go.
No one bothers to feel the discomfort on her face and believe that she can never get tired. My mother sets an example of a perfect homemaker, the best mother and a great grandmother. I've seen her working 24x7 without complaints and I too took her for granted. She always advised me that 'health is the real wealth'. But never implemented it on herself...
I am sure all women are sailing like the way my mother did and still does. They sense themselves as superheroes without cape and feel as if God has given special power to women that we can get through any kind of situation without expecting anything from anyone. Women often forget about themselves and for her, healthy life always means 'healthy family'.
But why not we own a 'Me, Mera, Myself' wala attitude? Why are we always so selfless, non self- centered with doosron ke lie karne wala attitude? We must believe that it's ok to think about YOU...
Healthier life means - proper nutrition, a good exercise and most important inner happiness. Change your outlook towards life and most importantly towards yourself. Sit back, pause and delete those judgemental comments, mean advise which divert your mind. Before your energy is depleted or your mind is exhausted, seek support and pamper yourself with some precious 'me time' and do it often. We all have one favourite corner in the house where we just wish to lose ourself. Visit that corner often and invest in high quality ' noise cancellation ' devise. Trust me ! It's heavenly...
Apne dil ki Suno, maza aayega...
Once you modify your present with slight changes in your self care regime, your future will thank you later.Ladies! Life is beautiful and make it easier by prioritising your needs. Family comes first only when you put yourself first.
