The Red Daze?

" Hello! Mrs Khanna, is Aryan at home?!" asked 15 yr old Dhruv aka Aryan's best buddy.

Their exams were just over and Dhruv came all the way to remind Aryan about their " once-the-exams-were-over-we-will-go-to-the-fair " pact.

Before even Aryan's mom called him, Aryan bolted downstairs to greet his friend.

" LET'S Goooooo...!" screamed Aryan with excitement and joy and off they went to the fair which was a mile and half away from their colony.

They bought their tickets and promised each other that they will sit on each and every ride. They made another silly pact " we-see-a-ride,we-ride-the-ride" which makes no sense to us but pretty much to them ( kids when they finish their exams become pretty wild and senseless )

It was twilight by now and the fair was almost getting empty and a little lonely. The screams of happy young people started fading away by time. Aryan and Dhruv sat on almost every ride except the big old giant wheel.

" It's almost getting dark, I guess I need to take your leave" Dhruv mumbled.

" What?! No. What about our pact?

" We can come tomorrow too..And it's getting dark. My mom will be worried".

"Ugh..! Okay fine. You can go." said Aryan while Dhruv was on his way to get back home.

Aryan carefully placed himself on the seat of the ride. " It's isn't that fun without Dhruv " said Aryan to himself.

Suddenly the giant wheel stopped, leaving Aryan and few other riders on board.

" Technical problem, will fix it soon " yelled a random guy who worked in the fair.

Aryan was on top. " Wow, I can see my whole town and a forest from here. Dhruv is indeed missing this scene" thought Aryan. While he was enjoying the scene, he suddenly saw something red shine. It was from the forest nearby. At first he thought he was just imagining things until it happened again. He kept looking, and again the red spark appeared. The ride started. The wheel took one leap, Aryan looked back to check if the red thing was for real or fake or was he still imagining...?

Once the ride was over Aryan could not stop himself but made his way to the forest. It was dark, damp and surrounded by hooting noises of owls. After walking for 5 mins he saw the red spark. He dared to follow...

Aryan felt as if the red spark was leading him somewhere near a bush. He slowly moved and crawled inside and saw something which gave him goosebumps.

A HUGE UFO!!

Yes.. Aryan stood facing a huge UFO. It was laid crashed to a tree. Aryan gathered all his guts to slowly walk towards it.

Suddenly a creature just jumped from a tree and started walking towards Aryan yelling " Wake up Aryan! Wake up".

Aryan suddenly woke up with cold sweats and saw that he was in his very own comfy bed and his mom beside him.

" Go wash your face, you seem pretty shaken up. You were mumbling UF- something " and left the room to prepare breakfast.

" Pretty weird dream" thought Aryan. "I must tell this to Dhruv ". And went downstairs.

Little did he know the Alien was looking at him from the window and gave a sly smirk " this is for real "...! and disappeared into thin air.

Leaving Aryan with his dream for eternity.
