What is the probability??

It was 6 in the morning, and I had just landed in this city. It was an alien place for me. The train was at the 3rd platform, and I took the stairs to cross the tracks. Couldn’t have taken any other paths, though. I stopped there to call my friend, whose persuasion brought me here. She picks up the call half asleep and asks me to come to a common place. I took the auto rickshaw to the place. I sat in the vehicle and was thinking about the circumstances that brought me here.

I had come in a hurry of sorts. Although I had thought and spoke to my parents about the plan a month ago. But still I had come in hurry. Booked my ticket at the last moment and packed a bag and voila, I was here. It all just happened. Sometimes shit happens and we can’t do much. It's all part of the plan. None of us could really believe what had happened, I’m sure. Me, my family or my girlfriend. None of us could apprehend what has just happened.

So, I got at the chowk. There I’m with my bag and dreams standing at an important junction. Trying to soak in as much as I can. Meanwhile my phone rang. It was her. She was right there in her pajamas and tees. She had her hair combed. One could never believe she just woke up. She stood there with a smile and amazement. She has insisted on me to come here and now I was here. Boy what is the probability!

Well, I’m weak at probability. So, I’ll just leave that to you. But first I must give you some background information. Since last five years, I have been in my own place, doing stuffs like any other person. Preparing for competitive exams and failing at it. Doing household stuffs. And living kind of satisfactory life. I had goals and dreams even then, but always got stuck at some other things. So, I’m in my city and doing normal stuffs. And one sudden day, I just wake up in another city.

I know one might not think it’s a big deal, but it was an achievement for me. And sometimes in life we all need someone as I had. Someone who could help you take the steps you would normally never take. If she wouldn’t have convinced me to come, I might still be stuck in my own stuff. And it was not only her words that brought me here. It was what I wanted. I wanted to change my environment, too. It was my destiny.

In every walk of life, each one of us get stuck. And at times we might think and believe that we can ride the wave and all. And maybe you can. But that is your destiny. Destinay is where you’re supposed to be and no matter what you’ll reach there. Albeit early or late. We might think and hope to be whatever we want to be. But we only get what we are supposed to get. That doesn’t mean we should not strive for the better and greater things. We all must. But at the same time is not stressed about things that you want. Sometimes we must just loose the control and let it happen.

I crossed the road to get to her and it was nice to be there. I went to my hotel and took a good sleep. Didn’t had any plans for the day so just stayed in my room and thinking what’s next. I will need to find a place to stay. In the evening we went for a nice walk. It was a food stall and we stopped there to eat something. We were having our food and suddenly she says, “I can’t believe you are here.” And I was like, “yeah! I know. But what is the probability?”
