Aseer hu me is khamoshi ka, behisaab kuftugu he.

Dheemi he Aahate, aur be sakooni bhi kuch yunn shaguftgu he .

He becheniyo ki chehal , aur khudgarz hisab saazi he

Wo nazro ki sarkoshi, Aur lafz-beniyaazi he.

He selaab dil samandar, wo khauf ki ghehrai, benaqabi ho gae hausle, aur wo urooj ki tanhaai .

Behisaab bhi he andhera. Jese ho akhiri raat pe koi pehra.

He dil intezaar me thehra, hoga kisi sehar mera koi sawaeraa.

Sehraa….

Jese Alif (ا ) se lekar ye ( ی ) tak ho safar mera.
