No one listened when I spoke,
They thought my dreams were just a joke.
They only cared to share their say,
And pushed my thoughts far away.
"Read your books," they would advise,
Ignoring stars in endless skies.
The paths I saw, they couldn't see,
They left behind infinity.
They never believed, they said I’d fail,
Their doubts were strong, their words would sail.
But deep inside, I kept my flame,
Dreams untouched by their blame.
Now they cheer their kids with pride,
Not knowing they work by my side.
Under me, they toil and strive,
While my dreams bloom, alive, alive.
No one listened, but I knew,
The sky was mine to paint and view.
Infinite ways, my heart did find,
Their limits stayed; I left them behind.
